CUB Community is the app of the CUB Italy business club, where members make useful connections, share news and talk to each other. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Who we are
The CUB Community app (the "App") is provided by CUB Italy, the CUB business club. For any questions about personal data, email club.ukr.business@gmail.com.
Data we collect
- Account data: first and last name (Cyrillic and Latin), email address or phone number, and an encrypted password.
- Profile data: city and country, line of business, service categories, description, profile photo.
- Content you create: posts, photos, videos, comments, likes, event participation.
- Messages: text, photo and voice messages in private chats.
- Technical data: device type, OS version, push notification token, crash logs.
- Location: only in case if you create the event. In other cases we don't store this, only use in the moment of request to find the closest events.
Device permissions
- Camera and photos — to add a profile photo, create posts and send images in chats.
- Microphone — to record voice messages.
- Notifications — to tell you about new messages and events.
- Location — to find the events near you.
Access is granted only with your permission and can be revoked in your device settings.
How we use data
- To create and maintain your account.
- To show your profile to other members and help you make useful connections.
- To run posts, chats and events.
- To moderate content, prevent abuse and keep members safe.
- To fix bugs and improve the App.
We do not sell your data, use it for ad targeting, or track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see your data
- Other club members see your profile, posts and community activity.
- People you chat with see the messages you send them.
- Service providers (hosting, file storage, push notifications) process data only on our behalf and under our instructions.
- Authorities — only when required by law.
User content and safety
We do not allow offensive, illegal or fraudulent content. You can report a post or a member and block any user. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; violating content is removed and offenders may be banned.
Storage and security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored on secure servers. We keep it for as long as your account exists. After you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Deleting your account
Your rights
Under the GDPR and applicable law you have the right to access a copy of your data, correct or delete it, restrict or object to processing, and request data portability. To do so, email us. You may also contact the data protection authority in your country.
Age requirement
The App is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will notify you in the App about significant changes. The effective date is shown at the top of this page.
